Yoga became a part of my life when I became pregnant with my first child over 12 years ago. I was looking to stay healthy during pregnancy, but I didn't realize how much I really loved every part of yoga. I was first drawn to the practice by the way it made me feel physically, then I realized there was something deeper that was happening; a union between mind, body, and soul. I wanted to share this positive practice with anyone who was open to it so I began teaching.
I enjoy teaching many forms of yoga including prenatal, kids, foundations, and vinyasa. I have taught in different studios, at elementary schools and for fundraising events, and juvenile hall through the Art of Yoga Project. My credentials include RYT 200 (Just Breathe Yoga Rivermark), RPYT (In Harmony Prenatal Teacher Training), RYT 500 (Joy of Yoga).
Yoga can be practiced in solitude, but coming out with community makes it more fun and holds accountability. See you on the mat!
